About me

I work for Ocean Network Express Pte. Ltd. as a Data Science Manager and Digital Solution Unit Leader, based at the Global Headquarters in Singapore.

I lead the design and delivery of applied machine learning, optimization, and decision-support systems for real-world industrial challenges. My work includes demand and return forecasting, cost optimization, and large-scale analytics platforms, with a strong focus on production readiness, scalability, and measurable business impact.

I have an engineering and scientific research background. Prior to industry, my work focused on computer simulations and numerical modeling to analyze and optimize complex systems. This training continues to inform my approach to data science, emphasizing rigorous modeling, system-level thinking, and end-to-end ownership from problem formulation to production deployment.

I received my Ph.D. from Kyoto University, my M.Sc. from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and my B.Eng. from Southwest Petroleum University.

Born and raised in Sichuan, China.

Professional Updates

May 2025: Promoted to Digital Solution Unit Leader (Manager) at Ocean Network Express (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., and relocated to the Global Headquarters in Singapore.

December 2022: Joined Ocean Network Express (Japan) Ltd. as a Data Scientist in the Supply Chain Management Development team.

March 2022: Graduated from Kyoto University with a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.
